Our MOUNT BRANDON aluminium GoPro tray mount adapter is essential for attaching light arms to two pronged action camera waterproof housings.

MOUNT BRANDON is made from threaded anodized aluminium. The generic plastic version breaks easily when the camera is removed. The anodized aluminium is robust and threaded, so no small nuts to worry about loosing.

This Go-Pro adaptor is named after Mount Brandon or Brandon (Irish: Cnoc Bréaninn, meaning “Brendan’s hill”). At 952 metres (3,123 ft) high it is the highest Irish mountain outside of the MacGilly cuddy’s Reeks range, and has the greatest prominance of any Irish peak except for Carrauntoohil, Ireland’s highest mountain.

Brandon is named after Saint Brendan and is the end of a Christian pilgrimage trail known as Cosán na Naomh. Brandon is at the centre of the Brandon Group of mountains in the Dingle Peninsula in Kerry.
